The 4th Annual Pure Aloha Fall Festival at Silverton Casino Lodge to benefit earthquake and tsunami victims

Las Vegas, Nevada (Octo­ber 8, 2009) – The 4^th Annual Pure Aloha Fes­ti­val has relo­cated to the Sil­ver­ton Casino Lodge and will fea­ture ono (deli­cious) island food, arts and craft ven­dors and enter­tain­ment straight from the islands of the Pacific Islands begin­ning Fri­day, Octo­ber 9 through Sun­day, Octo­ber 11. The cel­e­bra­tion will fea­ture evening con­certs on Fri­day and Sat­ur­day, as well as, fes­ti­val grounds that will show­case the best of Hawai­ian cul­ture all three days.

In light of the recent nat­ural dis­as­ters, Samoa O Nevada will be on-site col­lect­ing med­ical sup­plies, blan­kets, food, water, gen­tly used clothes, wheel chairs, crutches and other mate­ri­als in an effort to help aide those suf­fer­ing from the dev­as­tat­ing earth­quake and tsunami that hit the islands of Samoa. In addi­tion, Lei Samoa will ded­i­cate its per­for­mance and pay a spe­cial trib­ute on Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 10 at 7 p.m.

Fri­day evening will fea­ture a con­cert with some of today’s great­est island stars, with per­for­mances by J.Boog, Ook­lah the Moc, and Bonafide with spe­cial guests Pati, begins at 6 p.m. Tick­ets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Sat­ur­day evening’s con­cert, fea­tur­ing the leg­endary Cecilio & Kapono (C&K), begins at 7 p.m. Tick­ets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. The fes­ti­val hours are Fri­day, Octo­ber 9 from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Sat­ur­day, Octo­ber 10 from 11 a.m.- 10:30 p.m.; and Sun­day, Octo­ber 11 from 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. The fes­ti­val will fea­ture a vari­ety of island ven­dors and local halau per­for­mances. The admis­sion fee is $6 for Gen­eral Admis­sion and $3 for chil­dren 3–10, seniors (65+), and Mil­i­tary with I.D. Fes­ti­val tick­ets are only avail­able for pur­chase at the door.
