Orlando, Florida (August 18, 2011) – Family-style Ital­ian restau­rant, Buca di Beppo, is hon­or­ing senior

cit­i­zens in cel­e­bra­tion of National Senior Citizen’s Day. On Sun­day, August 21, all seniors who dine-in at any Buca di Beppo loca­tion will receive one com­pli­men­tary slice of Home­made Cheese­cake with any purchase.

The offi­cial hol­i­day was marked with a spe­cial deliv­ery to the Lake Mary Health and Reha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­ter to feed forty seniors. The group feasted on Buca’s Sig­na­ture Lasagna, Gar­lic Bread as well as Home­made Cheesecake.

In August of 1988, Pres­i­dent Ronald Rea­gan issued Procla­ma­tion 5847, that cre­ated National Senior Cit­i­zens Day cel­e­brated annu­ally on August 21.
