Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa Honors Employees with 20-Years of Service

Dana Point, Cal­i­for­nia, (Novem­ber 10, 2011) –The Laguna Cliffs Mar­riott Resort and Spa

located in Dana Point, rec­og­nized twenty employ­ees who have each ded­i­cated a min­i­mum of twenty years of ser­vice to the resort.

As a token of appre­ci­a­tion each 20-year employee was brought up on stage and rec­og­nized at an All Asso­ciate Meet­ing. In addi­tion each of the employ­ees were gifted with a per­ma­nent reserved park­ing space, a new Laguna Cliffs Spa Bathrobe, a let­ter of appre­ci­a­tion signed by the plan­ning com­mit­tee mem­bers and a framed panoramic pho­to­graph of the resort

An elab­o­rate sit down din­ner topped off the evening, which fea­tured a meal pre­pared by Ban­quet Chef Vince Kohl. The high­light of the din­ner was the spe­cial “Thank You” as the resort’s Plan­ning Com­mit­tee Mem­bers dressed in full ban­quet uni­forms pro­vided a white glove syn­chro­nized service.

“A team of ded­i­cated and pas­sion­ate employ­ees is essen­tial to the suc­cess of any resort and we are for­tu­nate to have so many long­stand­ing mem­bers of our Laguna Cliffs Fam­ily,” said Jim Samuels, Gen­eral Man­ager.  “We believe that Laguna Cliffs is a spe­cial place to work, and to have these twenty-year employ­ees demon­strate such pride and loy­alty to this prop­erty affirms that belief. We offer them sin­cere thanks for their out­stand­ing con­tri­bu­tions over the past two decades.”

Built in 1987, the resort’s red-roofed, Victorian-style archi­tec­ture caps the cliffs above the bay, which is set upon more than 75 acres of gar­dens, lawns, and Doheny State Beach park­land. The bluffs at Dana Point take their name from Richard Henry Dana — an early sea­farer and author, who described the spot as the most roman­tic on the Cal­i­for­nia coast.
